Handling Duplicate Documents

Where duplicate documents are submitted, the Credit Insights engine will only consider one of them. This is so that the outputs are not accidentally multiplied. For example, submitting a bank statement twice for a customer will not result in the returned income outputs being doubled.

 Handling Duplicate Bank Account Transactions

There may be instances where there are duplicate transactions, even without duplicate documents. Consider the following cases:

  • Open banking data and bank statements are uploaded for the same customer bank account.
  • Two bank statements are uploaded for the same customer bank account. They are non-duplicates, but their dates overlap.

Again, Inscribe will handle this and will not return duplicate transactions or insights.
